So often we see pictures of much loved iconic landscapes and landmarks that, perhaps due to overexposure, we inadvertently ignore. These pieces use computer code to deconstruct and reassemble Google maps images of these familiar places into generated and reimagined pieces. These artworks preserve the "feeling" of the original but remove much of the recognisable detail allowing the viewer to explore completely new and imagined parts of landscapes they thought they once knew.
